Biography

Joe is an emerging voice in the exciting New York City music scene. Known for his musical versatility and intensity, he is an in-demand drummer for a variety of genres ranging from jazz and Latin to rock and R&B.

Graduating from the esteemed Jazz Studies program at William Paterson University in 2020, Joe studied under such luminaries as Bill Goodwin, Bill Charlap, Jeremy Pelt and Mike LeDonne. Continuing his education after school, he pursued mentorship from Billy Hart and Joe Farnsworth.

Joe has performed at an array of New York’s music hotspots, including Barclays Center, Smalls Jazz Club, Ornithology Jazz Club, Arlene’s Grocery, Knitting Factory and countless others. He has shared the stage with stars including Lil Kim and Run DMC, as well as jazz veterans such as Akiko Tsuruga.

Since moving to New York in 2021, Joe is frequently making people dance to his drums. He regularly performs with his fusion trio, the Casey Rabito Trio, and has most recently been performing with Latin singer-songwriter Jeremy Torres. He is also available for a range of freelance work on stage, at private events, and in the studio.
